더 이상 저항하지 않고 누구나 무엇의 뜻에 따라 따르거나 영향을 받는 것. 주로 억지로 받아들이는 상황에서 사용됨.
Usage Notes (Korean)
주로 "give in to temptation", "give in to pressure"처럼 부정적인 단어와 함께 사용. 완전히 '항복하다'보단 약하게, 마지못해 받아들이는 뉘앙스. 뒤에 명사가 옴.
