"get over with" in Japanese

済ませる終わらせる（嫌なこと）

Definition

嫌なことや気が進まないことを早く終わらせて、気が楽になりたい時に使います。

日常会話でよく使います。「済ませる」「さっさと終わらせる」などで表現。単なる「終わらせる」よりも、嫌いなことを早く済ませたい気持ちを含む。

I want to get this homework over with before dinner.

夕食の前にこの**宿題を済ませて**しまいたい。
