किसी चीज़ पर चढ़ने के लिए शारीरिक रूप से आगे बढ़ना, जैसे वाहन या मंच। इसका अर्थ किसी विषय की बात शुरू करना भी हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Get onto' का प्रयोग बस, ट्रेन आदि पर चढ़ने के लिए और बातचीत में नए विषय पर चर्चा शुरू करने के लिए होता है। आम वाक्यांश: 'get onto the bus', 'get onto a topic'। इसे 'get on with' (जारी रखना या संबंध अच्छा होना) से न मिलाएँ।
