Definition

'Fum' अंग्रेज़ी का सामान्य शब्द नहीं है; यह सबसे ज्यादा पुराने अंग्रेज़ी परी कथा के वाक्य 'fee-fi-fo-fum' में प्रयुक्त होता है। इसका खुद का कोई अर्थ नहीं है।

'fee-fi-fo-fum' (पुरानी परी कहानी) के अलावा कहीं 'fum' नहीं आता। आधुनिक बोलचाल में नहीं मिलता। कभी-कभार कविताओं या साहित्यिक संदर्भ में दिख जाता है।
