Definition

상대방의 의사와 상관없이 억지로 받아들이게 하거나 시키는 것.

주로 부정적인 상황에서 쓰며, 의견, 규칙 등을 상대에게 억지로 받아들이게 할 때 사용한다. 물리적 강제보다는 심리적·사회적 압박에 가깝다.

You shouldn't force your opinion on others.

자신의 의견을 남에게 **강요하면** 안 돼요.
