누군가가 제안하거나 하는 대로 따르며 그 사람의 방향이나 예를 따라 행동하는 것.

공식적, 비공식적 상황 모두에서 사용된다. 'I'll follow your lead'라고 말하면 상대에게 주도권을 준다는 의미다. 'follow the leader'와는 다른 뜻.
