어떤 것에 완전히 주의를 기울이거나, 상황에서 중심이 되는 것.

동사로는 'focus on', 'focus your attention on'과 같이 사용됨. 명사로는 'the focus is on...' 형태 자주 사용. 카메라에서는 '초점이 맞다/흐리다' 의미로 쓰임.
