Bir avucun içine sığacak kadar miktar. Genellikle küçük ve dağınık şeyler için kullanılır.

'Avuç dolusu' çoğunlukla şeker, kum, bozuk para gibi dağınık ve küçük şeylerde kullanılır. Sıvılar için uygun değildir; samimi anlatımlarda daha çok görülür.
