魚を捕るために使う網のこと。また、ファッションで使われる編み目状の布地も指します。特にストッキングなどに使われます。

「fishnet」は実際の漁業用の網と、ファッション用の編み目布地の両方を指します。特に「fishnet stockings」は大胆なファッションアイテムとして使われます。生地の場合は数えられませんが、網なら数えられます。
