벽이나 방 안에 설치되어 불을 피워 난방이나 분위기를 내는 설비입니다.

주로 고전적이거나 시골풍 집에서 사용됩니다. 이동식 난로를 뜻하지 않습니다. '돌벽난로', '벽난로에 불을 붙이다' 등과 함께 자주 쓰입니다.
