想像の産物とは、現実には存在せず、誰かの想像の中だけにあるものを指します。頭の中で作られた、架空の事柄です。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
"figments of one's imagination"（想像の産物）は、実際には存在しない事柄を指す表現です。主に文学的・形式的な場面で用いられ、物理的なものには使いません。
