手や指で物を落ち着きなくさわったり、動かしたりすること。集中していない時や直そうとする時によく使う。

“fiddle with”は無意識的・落ち着きのない動作を表し、目的なく物をいじる時によく使います。「ペンをいじる」ような日常的な場面でよく登場します。
