살찌우다

Definition

누군가나 동물에게 평소보다 더 많이 먹여서 살을 찌우는 것. 보통 동물에게 쓰지만, 농담으로 사람에게도 사용한다.

비공식적이고 장난스럽게 쓰임. '살찌운다'는 농담이나 친근하게 동물과 사람에게 모두 쓸 수 있음. 진지한 건강 관련 대화에는 잘 쓰지 않음.

We need to fatten up the chickens before winter.
