각종 축제나 박람회, 놀이기구와 음식 부스 등이 임시로 열리는 야외 공간을 말합니다.

'축제장'이나 '박람회장'은 장소를 의미하며, 행사를 직접 의미하지 않습니다. '축제장에 있다', '축제장을 방문하다'처럼 사용합니다. 영구적 놀이공원과 다르게 임시적인 공간입니다.
