어려운 상황에 용감하게 맞서거나 몸이 위를 보도록 얼굴을 위로 향하다.

'face up'은 물리적으로 얼굴을 위로 향하는 뜻이고, 비유적으로 쓸 때는 반드시 'to'와 같이 'face up to'로 써야 합니다. 공식, 비공식 모두 사용 가능합니다.
