ある範囲、場所、時間、または対象まで及ぶ、または適用されることを表します。範囲や適用対象を説明する際によく使います。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
ビジネスや日常の両方で使われます。「extend to all employees」は「全社員に及ぶ／適用される」です。物理的な長さの拡張にはこの表現は使いません。
