Definition
液体が熱などで気体になって空気中に消えていくこと。主に水や他の液体について使われる。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
科学や日常会話でよく使われ、水などの液体に限ります。「蒸発してすぐに消える」「空気中に蒸発する」などの表現があります。固体には使いません。
