Definition
弾性とは、引っ張ったり押したりした後に元の形に戻る性質のことです。経済では、価格や需要の変化にどれだけ反応するかを指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
科学や繊維、経済学（「価格の弾力性」「需要の弾力性」など）でよく使われます。日常会話では物理的性質を指しますが、経済用語では特別な意味があります。「エラスティック（伸縮性のある物）」とは違います。
