ダムウェーターは、食べ物や食器など小物を階ごとに運ぶための小さなエレベーターです。主にレストランや大きな家で使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「ダムウェーター」は建築や歴史、レストラン等の場面で使われ、一般家庭ではめったに見られません。「ウェイター」（給仕係）とは別物です。推理小説などで隠し場所として登場することもあります。
