Definition
‘Dream’ fiilinin geçmiş hali. Uykuda rüya görmek ya da gelecekte bir şeyi çok istemek anlamında kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
‘Dreamed’ ve ‘dreamt’ ikisi de doğru; Amerikan İngilizcesinde ‘dreamed’ yaygın. ‘dreamed about’, ‘dreamed of’, ‘always dreamed of becoming...’ şeklinde kullanılır. Hem rüya hem de hayal anlamında sık geçer.
