特定の信念や原則、特に宗教や哲学の教義に基づく、またはそれに関すること。

主に宗教・哲学・学術的な文脈で使われます。「doctrinal differences」や「doctrinal statement」のような表現で見かけます。日常会話ではあまり使用されません。原則や考え方に重点があります。

There are doctrinal differences between the two churches.
