自分の正体や本当の姿を隠すために姿や服装を変えること。また、本来のものを他のもののように見せかける場合にも使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「disguised as ～」は「～に変装した」という意味でよく使う。比喩的に本心や意図を隠す時にも使われる。「薄く偽装した」（thinly disguised）など表現で応用できる。
