Definition

重要なテーマについての公式な話や文章。また、学問的・知的な議論のやり取りも指す。

主に学術的や公式な場で使われ、日常会話にはほぼ登場しません。「political discourse」「academic discourse」などの形で、体系的な議論に用います。「conversation」や「speech」とは異なります。
