Morrer gradualmente até que não reste nenhum, geralmente usado para grupos de seres vivos como plantas ou animais.
Usage Notes (Portuguese (BR))
Usado em contextos científicos ou ecológicos para indicar a extinção gradual de grupos. Não se usa para indivíduos. Parecido com 'die out' (extinção total). 'Die' se refere a mortes individuais.
