"desensitize" in Japanese
Definition
人や物が特定の感情や刺激、経験などに対して鈍感になるようにすること。繰り返し経験させることで反応を弱める場合に使います。

心理学や医療の分野でよく使われます。「desensitize to violence」「desensitize patients」などの形で使われ、口語的ではありません。
