ডার্মিস হল ত্বকের পাতলা বাইরের স্তরের নিচে থাকা পুরু স্তর, যেখানে রক্তনালী, স্নায়ু, লোমের মূল, ও ঘামগ্রন্থি থাকে।

এটি মূলত চিকিৎসা ও জীববিজ্ঞানের আলোচনায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণ কথোপকথনে খুব কম ব্যবহৃত। 'epidermis' বা 'skin' এর সাথে প্রায়ই দেখা যায়।
