Definition

倉庫や車両基地は、大量の物資や乗り物を保管したり、バスや電車などの乗り物を休ませるための場所です。

主に交通や物流関連で使われます。「バス車両基地」「燃料倉庫」「軍需倉庫」などの表現が一般的です。「デポジット」（預金）とは異なります。

The city has three depots for its buses.
