Informal para cortar fisicamente; técnico em edição de vídeo/cinema. Em TV/cinema indica trocar rapidamente de imagem. Não confundir com 'cut off' (cortar fornecimento) ou 'cut out' (tirar totalmente). Muito presente em tutoriais ('corte a gordura').
