多くの人が一度に狭い場所に押し入ること、その結果その場が混雑すること。

カジュアルな表現で、部屋やエレベーターなど狭い場所に多くの人が入るときに使う。不快感や狭さを伴うことが多い。比喩的に感情や考えが一気に押し寄せる場合にも使う。'gather' とは異なり、窮屈さを含む。
