Definition

カエルやカラスのような低くてざらざらした音を出すこと。人の声がとてもしわがれている時にも使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にカエルやカラスの声に使われる。人の声がひどくしわがれている時にも使う。「croaking」は良い響きの音には使わない。
