Definition

'Crests' বলতে কোনো কিছু বা পাহাড়, ঢেউয়ের সর্বোচ্চ অংশ অথবা কোনো প্রতীক বা চিহ্ন বোঝায় যা সাধারণত ঢাল বা পরিবারের প্রতীক হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

ভূগোল ('hill crests'), পদার্থবিদ্যা ('wave crests'), প্রাণীজগতে ('cock's crest') এবং প্রতীকে ('family crests') ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'Crusts' (পাউরুটির বাইরের অংশ) শব্দটির সাথে মিল করবেন না।
