Definition

빙식곡 또는 꼬리는 빙하의 침식 작용으로 산에 생긴 그릇 모양의 움푹 팬 곳입니다. 바닥에는 작은 호수나 눈이 남아 있을 수 있습니다.

주로 영국식 영어와 지질학에서 쓰이며, 과학적으로는 '시르크(cirque)'라고도 함. 스코틀랜드 산악 풍경 설명에 흔하게 나옴.
