এটি বেশ আনুষ্ঠানিক শব্দ। 'corporal punishment' মানে শারীরিক শাস্তি, 'corporal injury' মানে শারীরিক আঘাত। 'corporal' কে সামরিক পদবী 'corporal' (কর্পোরাল) এর সাথে মিলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
