Definition

어떤 일이 중단되지 않고 계속되는 상태, 혹은 일관성 있게 연결되는 것.

공식적, 학문적 상황에서 자주 쓰임. 영화에서는 장면간 일관성 의미. 'continuity of care'처럼 'of'와 함께 자주 사용됨. 'continuous'(형용사)와 혼동하지 않게 주의.

The teacher explained the importance of continuity in learning.

선생님은 학습에서 **연속성**의 중요성을 설명해주셨다.

We need continuity of service during the holidays.

휴일 동안에도 서비스의 **지속성**이 필요하다.

The continuity of the story made it easy to follow.
