Bir şeyin devam etmesi ya da önceden başlayan bir şeyin sürmesi; bir olayın veya hikâyenin sonraki bölümü.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Çoğunlukla resmi ya da akademik metinlerde geçer. 'the continuation of the story' gibi 'of' ile birlikte kullanılır. Fiziksel devam için 'uzantı' daha uygun olur. Bazen dizi veya hikâye devamında kullanılır.
