어떤 일이나 상태를 계속 이어나가는 것, 또는 이전의 것 다음에 오는 부분.

주로 공식적이거나 학문적인 맥락에서 사용합니다. 주로 'the continuation of ~' 형태로 쓰입니다. 물리적 공간의 연장에는 사용하지 않습니다. 이야기나 시리즈의 후속편 의미로도 사용됩니다.

This class is a continuation of last week's lesson.
