Definition
La persona o empresa que debe recibir mercancías enviadas por otra persona, especialmente en transporte o comercio.

Es un término formal y legal, utilizado en contratos, conocimientos de embarque y documentos de envío. No se emplea en la conversación diaria salvo en temas de logística. No confundir con 'consignador' (el que envía).
