一緒に繋がっている、物理的に結びついていること。特に「結合双生児」など、体がつながっている状態を表す時に使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に「結合双生児（conjoined twins）」のような医学用語で使われます。日常会話にはあまり出てきません。「combined」とは異なり、物理的に繋がっている場合に使います。
