共通の目的で協力する人々、特に犯罪や計画の共犯者、またはアメリカ南北戦争時の南部連合軍のメンバー。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「confederates」は犯罪の共犯者や、政治・軍事同盟者、南北戦争の南部連合軍に使うことが多いです。心理学実験の協力者も指します。日常会話ではあまり使いません。「confederation」とは異なります。
