আধুনিক ও লেখ্য ভাষায় বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'Comprised of' ফরমাল ইংরেজিতে বিতর্কিত; বরং 'comprises' ব্যবহার নিরাপদ। তালিকা বা গোষ্ঠীর ক্ষেত্রে বেশি দেখা যায়।
