Definition

コンパスは、主に円を描いたり、地図上の距離を計測したりする製図用の道具です。方位磁針とは異なります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

数学や製図ではコンパス（製図用）を使います。方位磁石の場合は英語の “compass” ですが、意味が異なります。
