Definition

'Compadres' बहुत घनिष्ठ पुरुष मित्रों के लिए, या स्पेनिश/पुर्तगाली संस्कृति में बच्चे के पिता और गॉडफादर के बीच के सम्बन्ध के लिए प्रयोग होता है। अनौपचारिक रूप से यह 'जिगरी दोस्त' के लिए भी आता है।

आम बोलचाल में सिर्फ पुरुषों के घनिष्ठ मित्रता के लिए। लैटिन संस्कृतियों में पारिवारिक या धार्मिक संदर्भ में भी उपयोग होता है।
