অপ্রয়োজনীয় কথা বাদ দিয়ে মূল বিষয় বা সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়ে কথা বলা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

অনানুষ্ঠানিকভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। কারো কথা দীর্ঘ হলে 'come to the point' বলা হয় মূল বিষয়ে যেতে। 'get to the point'-এর মতো। কখনও বিরক্তি প্রকাশেও ব্যবহৃত হয়।
