高い場所から低い場所に移動すること。また、量や強さが減ることや、どこかを訪れる意味もある表現。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に口語表現。「階段を降りてくる」「値段が下がる」「興奮から落ち着く」などの場面で使う。'calm down' と混同しないこと。
