Definition
杯垫是放在杯子或玻璃杯底下的小垫子，用来保护桌面不被热或水渍弄脏。在口语中，‘coaster’ 也可以指代过山车。

'Coaster' 正式场合多指杯垫；非正式美式英语中也可指过山车，常用于游乐园语境。不要和 'coastal' 或 'coast' 混淆。常用搭配有 'use a coaster', 'put a coaster', 'roller coaster'。
