Definition

منع الدخول إلى مكان أو جعله غير متاح. يمكن أن تعني أيضاً قطع التواصل أو إيقاف النشاطات.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

يستخدم 'close off' في الأماكن المادية ('close off the road') وأيضاً في السياقات العاطفية ('close yourself off'). يختلف عن 'close' الذي يعني فقط إغلاق دون حجب تام.
