Definition

ガラスや金属などが軽くぶつかって出る高くて短い音を指します。また、古いスラングで刑務所を意味することもあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にグラスや金属が軽く当たったときの澄んだ音に使われます。刑務所の意味ではほとんど使われませんが、映画や物語で聞くことがあります。「clank」（もっと重い音）とは区別してください。
