Definition
Birinin ya da bir şeyin birine veya bir şeye sıkı sıkıya tutunması ya da duygusal/ fiziksel olarak bırakmak istememesi durumudur.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
'clinging' hem fiziksel olarak birine/bir şeye yapışmak, hem de duygusal olarak aşırı bağlanmak anlamına gelir ('clinging friend'). Genellikle olumsuz bir anlam taşır. Sıklıkla 'to' (ör. 'clinging to hope', 'clinging to his mother') ile birlikte kullanılır.
