クリアウェイとは、交通の流れを妨げないために停車や駐車が禁止されている道路や道路の区間です。

主にイギリス、オーストラリア、アイルランド英語で使われる表現です。「駐停車禁止区間」などと案内されます。アメリカではほぼ使われません。

Examples

Parking is not allowed on the clearway during rush hour.
