Un sonido fuerte y metálico que ocurre cuando piezas pesadas de metal chocan entre sí, o producir este sonido.

‘Clank’ se usa principalmente para ruidos metálicos, como cadenas, armaduras o máquinas. Es más brusco que 'clang' y menos musical que 'chime'. Se emplea como sustantivo y verbo, sobre todo en descripciones o narrativas.
